ProfessorK. B. Akhilesh– Senior Professor, Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. President of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Rae Bareli. He is also an Member, Board of Governors Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak. He is also an Honorary Dean at SVYASA (Yoga University).  He is also the co-ordinator for M.Tech program for Technology Management at Defense Institute of Advanced Technology. Professor Akhilesh completed his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science with a gold medal, Master of Social Work (Ist Rank) and Graduation in Science. He has guided over 30 doctoral students. His recent book is ‘R&D Management’ published by Springer.  

·        Professor Akhilesh has been a Senior Professor of Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour and Technology Management.  He has published over 140 papers in Indian and international journals. He has authored 12 books.  His specific research interest include Collective Intelligence at the team  level, Family Business performance, Expertise Transfer, Team design for virtual work and product development, Vocational Skill development, Organizational development and Change Management.

·       Professor Akhilesh has served as an external Ph.D. examiner in India, South Africa and USA.

·        Professor Akhilesh has been a visiting faculty at many universities and organizations worldwide, including USA, Germany, France, Japan, Canada, Lisbon Portugal, Belgium and Sweden. He was an (Adjunct Professor) at George Mason University (Fairfax, VA) and Visiting Professor at University of Hamburg, School of Information. He has taught two courses Knowledge Management and International Business Leaders in Pforzheim University and Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences, Lemgo, Germany. He was also invited as a Visiting Researcher by Japan Institute of Labor, Tokyo.

Prof.Kanika T. Bhaiis Professor at the Department of Management Studies at IIT Delhi. A Ph D from IIT Kanpur, and a visiting fellow at Sloan School of Management, she has worked in the areas of leadership, organization management, ethics, corporate governance and HRM. She has published over 100 articles in national and international journals and conferences of repute; is on the editorial boards of national and international journals and is listed in the top researchers in the area of OB/HR of the country. She has authored books on leadership, culture, ethics and flexibility in organizations. Besides publishing widely, she has done several nationally and internationally funded research (with Fordham University and Wharton Business School, AAORD, US Air Force, ICSSR) projects. She has been a consultant to various government organizations like Fifth Central Pay Commission of India, First National Judicial Pay Commission of India, DRDO, UPSC, DGS&D, Ministry of Rural Development, NICD, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Environment and Forests,; DRDO. She is invited as expert on Government committees and serves as Independent Director on the boards of public and private sector companies. A member of the Academy of Management, USA; Society for Industrial Organization and Psychology; and Global Institute of Flexible Systems Management, she has received excellence in teaching award of IIT Delhi, Dr. Hari Singh Gaur Award for Excellent Work in Management Education, and Best professor in Management by Headlines Today. Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), South Africa has given her honorary title of Professor honorable and she has been a visiting professor at Simon Fraser University, Canada.

Dr.Araceli Bjarklevis currently Roskilde University’s Project Coordinator for Innovation Cooperation in Region Zealand, Denmark. She is the recipient of the RUC Innovation Business Oriented Entrepreneur Award 2010. She Graduated as a MSc and Ph.D. in Technology and environmental and socio-economic planning from Roskilde university, Denmark, and as Physical Planner graduated from Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana, Ciudad de Mexico.

 

She has experience in:

·        Life Cycle Analysis, Sustainable Production and Consumption strategies, Management of resources, eco-innovation and eco-design and sustainable development of value chains.

·        Strategic transition planning with problem-oriented, trans-disciplinary and participatory processes that she has used in practice working in externally funded research projects.

·        Designing and leading socio-economic experiments in order to:

o  Design societal solutions answering to real problems and therefore more directly market oriented

Mr.Constantinosstudies user motivations, expectations, and experiences with new media and the consequent design implications with a focus on social systems. His current research interests lie in the intersection of usability and mobile technologies for the purpose of health and/or commercial applications. Two overarching research questions frame his scholarly pursuits:

1.      What drives the optimal design of new media interfaces vis-à-vis usability and performance

2.      What content considerations evoke desired affective and/or behavioral outcomes?  

Constantinos’ research has been published widely in top peer-reviewed journals, such Information & Management, New Media & Society, Computers in Human Behavior, Transactions on Human-Computer Interaction, Online Information Review, among others. To support his research, he works in interdisciplinary teams and has received external funding in excess of $4 million from the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Initiative, McKesson Foundation, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Leo Burnett Detroit. He also has extensive consulting experience and has trained diverse organizations in North America, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

 

 

Jean-denis Garon, an associate professor of economics at ESG-UQAM. I completed a doctoral degree at Queen's University in 2012, under the supervision of Robin W. Boadway and Sumon Majumdar. Afterwards, I was appointed as a professor of economics at ESG-UQAM where I teach/taught Advanced microeconomic theory and Public economics at the graduate level, Intermediate microeconomic theory at the undergraduate level in economics, as well as Introductory microeconomics for non-economists

I specialize in public sector economics, with special emphasis on theoretical normative tax and behavioural issues, and on fiscal federalism. I am a fellow at CIRANO, the Centre Inter universitaire de Recherche en Analyse des organisations and a research affiliate at the CESIfo Group Munich. I am currently director of the Fiscal Federalism branch of the Centre d'Analyse Politique Constitution et Fédéralisme (CAP-CF), a multidisciplinary research centre at UQAM.  I also act as a member of the Public Policy Committee, an advisory body of the Association des Économistes Québécois. In the past, I have been active in the medias as a columnist and a commentator. I regularly act as a private consultant.

 

 

Prof.Bhumika Gupta is a Doctor of Philosophy and holds a PhD in the area of Human Resource Management from the University of Pau, France. She holds a position as Associate Professor in the area of Human Resource Management and post as Program Director of Master of Science in International Management. She works’ in the Department of Management, Marketing and Strategy atInstite Mines-Telecom BusinessSchool, Evry, France. She is also taught Master level course at University Paris Dauphine.

 

Her research explores a comparison of motivation levels in management practice between the traditional and virtual project teams, corporate culture and psychological contracts at work place. Prof. Bhumika GUPTA wrote several articles published in peer review academic ranked journals concerned with Human Resource Management, Organization Behaviour, Strategic Human Resource Management, and Corporate Social Responsibility. She has over 50 research articles and research conference in A, B and C ranked Journals. She is Working on many different government funded Research Projects in different nation including France, India and China.

 

Prof. Bhumika GUPTA has taught extensively in the Executive Education programs offered at TELECOM BUSINESS SCHOOL for CHINESE, INDIAN and MEXICAN delegation. She has over 14 years of experience in the area scientific research, teaching, executive training, conducting programs abroad and over 5 years of experience in corporate sector.

This is a youth movement for the transformation of society, for nurturing dreams and legitimate aspirations of the youth, for building the nation, and for intensifying the flame of Indian democratic leadership. The platform works with the objective of bringing the representation of youth in the mainstream of political and social democracy and imparts practical leadership training to prepare them for future leadership of the nation.

 

 

Dr.Guijun Liserves as Director of Center for Global Economy and Sustainable Development and Dean of Office of Research Administration at Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE). His faculty background is in finance management and management science, and he is a professor in the School of Management Science and Engineering at CUFE. He has published numerous academic articles in urban sustainable development, water-energy-food nexus (WEF-nexus) and construction management. Now his research focuses on urban complex ecosystem, financing and investment of infrastructure. He has chaired and worked collaboratively on about 20 projects. He holds a PhD degree in management science and engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Master degree in industry economics from Harbin University of Commerce. He is a visiting scholar at Stevens Institute of Technology.

 

Dr.Yulong Liis an associate professor and serves as Deputy Director of Global Economic and Sustainable Development Research Center at Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) in Beijing, China. He received his PhD from Harbin Institute of Technology, Heilongjiang, China, and his research interests concern infrastructure reliability, community resilience and community governance, engineering management and urban sustainable development. Yulong Li is a visiting scholar funded by China Scholarship Council (CSC) to Louisiana State University (LSU).He has more than 30 publications in multidisciplinary journals. He is an active member of several organizations including City Transformation and Innovation Research Committee of China Urban Studies Society and Engineering management Committee of Architectural Society of China. Previously, he worked as a project officer for the Administrative Center for China’s Agenda 21 for a year. He is also a communication reviewer of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Beijing Municipal Natural Science Foundation and was selected as Beijing Higher Education Young Elite Teacher.

 

Dr.Liguang Liuserves as Deputy Director of the Center for Global Economy and Sustainable Development at Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE). His faculty background is in public administration and climate policy, and he is an associate professor in the Department of Resource and Environmental Management in the School of Government at CUFE. Prior assuming his current position, Dr. Liguang Liu served as a policy analyst at Chinese Academy for Coal Sciences and a research fellow at the Economic Research Institute attached to Liaoning Provincial Development and Reform Commission. Previously, he was, for two years, an assistant with Energy Management project in the EU-China Liaoning Integrated Environmental Program. He has published numerous academic articles in multi-disciplinary journals and his research focuses on education for energy policy, environmental governance, e-government and research methods. Recently, he has worked on a number of issues around higher education for sustainable development (HESD) and community resilience.He holds a PhD degree in Public Affairs from the Florida International University.

With his passion of providing best services and solutions in IT and Educational sectors, he has been more focused on forward thinking, unique way of execution methodologies, marketing processes and management styles. Raju has MS in education and worked for 26 years in the industry including leading companies in Silicon Valley, California.

 

Dr.Petra Molthan-Hillleads the Green Academy at Nottingham Trent University since 2013, with the aim to include ESD related curricular and extra-curricular initiatives into the whole university, for example the internal online course offered to all 30.000 student at NTU: ‘Sustainability in Practice Certificate’ . She won ‘The Guardian University Award 2015 for Business Partnership’ (Greenhouse Gas Management Project) together with NetPositive Ltd and the Sustainability Professional Award in the Green Gown Awards 2016. Petra is also Associate Professor of Sustainable Management and Education for Sustainable Development at Nottingham Business School and was as NBS Sustainability Co-ordinator responsible for embedding sustainability and business ethics into the curriculum of the business school.Petra is the Co-Chair of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) working group on climate change and environment. She is the editor of 'The Business Student's Guide to Sustainable Management' offeringseminars and other teaching material in how to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals in accounting, marketing, HR and other subjects in management/business studies but also ideas on how to teach system thinking, corporate peace-making and the crowdsourcing of sustainable solutions, which would be of interest to lecturers/students from other disciplines; the second edition is now part of the PRME book series and published by Routlegde. Petra is also the Academic Lead for PRME in Nottingham Business School, the Chair of the TILT group ‘Education for Sustainable Futures’ and the Lead for the Pedagogical Research of the Responsible and Sustainable Business Lab.

 

 

Prof.Michael Nobel, PhD, participated in the initial introduction of magnetic resonance imaging as vice president of Fonar Corp. and served as executive chairman of the Magnetkameran Group from 1991 to 2006,

For 15 years he represented the Nobel family as vice chairman and chairman of its board of directors. He was consultant to UNESCO in Paris and the United Nations Social Affairs Division in Geneva for evaluation of drug abuse prevention programs.

In the academic field Dr. Nobel was visiting professor at the Frontier Research Institute at the Tokyo Institute of Technology between 2007 and 2012. He is a member since 2005 of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. He has received twelve academic honors including four doctor of science degrees and eight honorary professorships from universities in Ukraine, Jamaica, Azerbaijan, Japan and Russia as well as fourteen other awards from prestigious institutions around the world.

Today, Dr. Nobel is chairman or board member of six international companies in medical diagnostics, treatment and information systems as well as advisor to seven non-for-profit organisations.

Presently his academic position is that of distinguished professor at the Research Institute for Natural Science and Technology of Osaka City University and guest professor at the Peace Research Institute of the Soka University, Tokyo and the Kyosei Faculty of Seisa University, Oiso. Professionally he is executive chairman since 2014 of the Nobel Sustainability Trust Foundation in Zürich, which gives annual awards for inventions and developments in sustainable technology.

 

Dr . Salil K Sen is with the NIDA Business School at the National Institute of Development Administration, Bangkok. Salil’s inspiration is the Practice of Sustainability developed with the Earth Institute at Columbia University, New York in partnership with institutions in India, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada and Ecuador. A passionate researcher, sustainability consultant and faculty, Salil’s endeavor is to research the equivalence between W.W.E_Own = “We_Own”, where, W.W.E_Own is Water Waste Energy Ownership for sustainability. He has a blend of industry, teaching and consulting experience is South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia, West Africa and Southern California.

 

Dr.Yiyang Shenis senior Energy and Green Finance Consultant for ADB/UNDP on green investment field. At the same time he is also partner of Green Route Capital, and Green finance Expert at Financial Service Center of the China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector (CICCPS). His current work is supporting energy/environment/infrastructure related loan and equity investment projects to achieve environmental target and mainstream MDG. Before joining ADB, Dr. Shen was a Program Manager of Energy & Environment Program in UNDP, responsible for management of UNDP-China’s programmes in areas of environment and energy with special focus on Clean Energy,transportation and eco-agriculture. Dr. Shen has been intensively involving in strategy, policy, technology and financing in energy, agriculture, transportation and environmental field in Europe and various Asian and African countries.

 

Monica Singhaniais Professor at Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, India. She is a graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), post-graduate from Delhi School of Economics (DSE) and a Fellow Member (FCA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She has the distinction of securing All India Merit Rank 22ndin ICAI examinations. She has been awarded Ph.D. in the area of corporate finance and taxation from the University of Delhi. She is the author of 7 books on direct tax laws and several research papers published in leading international journals. With over 20 years of teaching and research experience, Monica has taught in over 10 countries, written more than 20 international business cases and has spoken at over 100 national and international conferences, workshop, symposiums, faculty development programs and corporate training events. She teaches management accounting, management control systems and project management to MBA students at FMS. Monica mentors at Ashima Foundation, a registered not for profit organization, as she is deeply passionate about uplifting the underprivileged by upgrading their skills. Dr.Sankar Sivarajahis a Reader (Associate Professor) in Technology Management and Circular Economy at the School of Management, University of Bradford, United Kingdom. He is also the current Head of Logistics, Supply Chain and Technology Research Centre. Prior to this role, he was a Lecturer in Operations and Information Systems Management and a Senior Research Fellow at the Business School in Brunel University London.

 

Sankar has published widely in leading international journals and continues to enjoy teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive level. His current research interests include exploring the emergent role of digital technologies in the circular economy, information systems evaluation, and digital governance. He is an investigator of several multi-million-pound R&D projects funded by the European Commission (FP7, H2020, Marie Curie) addressing societal challenges surrounding themes such as Energy Efficient Smart Cities, Green Data Centres, Social Innovation and Participatory Budgeting.He actively publishes in leading peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Business Research, Information Systems Frontiers, Computers in Human Behaviour and Government Information Quarterly and is also invited member of editorial advisory board of journals. His research has also been featured in leading media/trade publications such as Computer Weekly, PublicFinance, UKauthority etc.

 

He has a PhD in the area of technology management and evaluation from Brunel University London. Prior to his PhD, he was awarded a MSc in Management with distinction from Cass Business School (CASS), City University of London and a first-class honours BSc degree in Business and Management (Computing) from Brunel University. He was also awarded by CASS an honorary membership to the Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) society, an international honour society recognizing business excellence.

 

He is a member of British Academy of Management (BAM) and Association for Information Systems (AIS). He is also a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

 

Dr.Heidi Smithis a political economy expert studying the politics of trade, debt, taxes and fiscal policy in Latin America. Her research focuses on how governments fund their public programs at the local, state and federal level. Her recent publications have appeared in Dr. Smith has taught public policy classes in Washington DC (George Mason University), Miami (Florida International University) and Mexico City (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México).

 

Dr. Smith has a Ph.D. in Public Affairs from Florida International University, a Master’s degree in Public Policy from American University and a BA in Political Science, Spanish and Latin American Studies from the University of Wisconsin (Madison). She has extensive experience working with local and regional governments in Latin America as a consultant for international organizations (IDB, OAS, OECD) and serving in the U.S. government at the US Department of State and the Inter-American Foundation (IAF).

 

 

Dr.Xiaofen Tanserves as Deputy Director of the Center for Global Economy and Sustainable Development and Deputy Dean of School of Finance at Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE). His faculty background is in international finance and monetary policy, and he is a professor in the Department of International Finance in the School of Finance at CUFE. He has published numerous academic articles in exchange rate, international capital flow, global imbalance, international commodity prices, non-financial corporateleverage. Now his research focuses on leverage and financial stability, international capital flow and macro-prudential policy. Recently, he has worked on a number of issues around Chinese non-financial corporate leverage. He holds a PhD degree in international economics from the Chinese Academy of Social Science, Master degree in finance from Beijing Normal University. He is a visiting scholar at Columbia University.

Prof.Jiutian Zhanggraduated from University of Science and Technology of China(USTC). He used to work in the Administrative Center for China's Agenda 21 and now is the deputy executive director of Green Development Institute, Beijing Normal University. Professor Zhang has been working in the field of climate change for 16 years and has taken charge of more than ten national projects and research such as "Key supporting technologies for the third national assessment report on climate change", "Integration of science and technology achievements and construction of service platform for tackling climate change", and "Research on China's strategy of tackling the development of climate change science and technology". As the head of the Chinese project, he took the lead in the smooth development of several international cooperation projects such as "China-UK Near Zero Emissions Coal Initiative project", "China Zambia/Garner renewable energy technology transfer cooperation project". He participated in the writing of "China's special scientific and technological action on climate change", "The '12th Five-Year' national special plan for the development of science and technology for climate change", "The national report on sustainable development of China" and other policy studies and reports. He sent the "Several suggestions on the coordinated development of energy and water in China" "the assessment of China's carbon dioxide utilization technology and its development proposals" to the Central State Council for Internal references.

As a member of the Chinese delegation, Professor Zhang has participated in the negotiations on the United Nations Convention on climate change for 2008-2016 years, and has undertaken to adapt to the negotiations on climate change and technology transfer. As a Chinese representative, he has kept close cooperation with international multilateral organizations such as IEA, CSLF, APN and other international organizations.
